When This War Is Over
Den amerikanske sångaren och låtskrivaren J J Cale är ju känd för att ha hållit sig på sin kant, och det är i sig därför intressant, att Eric Clapton har lyckats få till stånd ett samarbete dem emellan på CDn ”The Road to Escondido” (Reprise Records 9362-44418-2, 2006). Clapton har dock tidigare haft hits med låtar skrivna av Cale.

Till det mest intressanta med den hör att där finns en låt av Cale med udden riktad mot Bush’s krig i Irak, ”When This War Is Over”, alltså en sång med politisk text:
